Post Your Project – Official Rules & Regulations

The “Post Your Project Giveaway” (“Promotion”) is sponsored by Elmwood Bark & Stone (“Sponsor”), located in West Hartford, Connecticut.

By participating in this Promotion, participants agree to comply with and be bound by the following Official Rules and Regulations.

1. Promotion Period

The Promotion begins on the May 25, 2026, and will continue an ongoing weekly basis until June 28, 2026.

Elmwood Bark & Stone reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Promotion at any time without prior notice.

2. Eligibility

The Promotion is open to legal residents of Connecticut who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry.  Homeowners and contractors are welcome to participate.

Employees of Elmwood Bark & Stone, its affiliates, subsidiaries, immediate family members, and household members are not eligible to participate.

3. How to Enter

To receive one (1) entry into the weekly drawing, participants must complete ALL the following steps:

  1. Purchase Mulch, topsoil, decorative stone, or aggregate base material from Elmwood Bark & Stone.
  2. Complete a landscaping, gardening, or outdoor improvement project using the purchased materials.
  3. Post at least one photo of the completed project publicly on Facebook.
  4. Tag Elmwood Bark & Stone in the Facebook post.
  5. Follow the official Elmwood Bark & Stone Facebook page at the time of drawing.

Entries that do not meet all requirements may be disqualified.

4. Eligible Products

Eligible purchases may include, but are not limited to:

  • Mulch
  • Topsoil
  • Decorative Stone
  • Aggregates
  • Compost
  • Landscape Materials

Sponsor reserves the right to determine eligibility of all products and purchases.

5. Winner Selection

One (1) winner will be selected at random each Tuesday from all eligible entries received during the previous period.

Winners may be announced on Elmwood Bark & Stone’s social media platforms.

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

6. Prize Details

The selected winner will receive an Amazon Gift Card in the amount of $50.00:

Limit one (1) entry per household or contractor per week.

7. Content Rights & Usage

By submitting photos or other content as part of the Promotion, participants grant Elmwood Bark & Stone a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable right to use, reproduce, publish, share, modify, and display submitted content for marketing, advertising, website, and promotional purposes without additional compensation or approval.

Participants represent that:

  • They own or have permission to use all submitted content
  • Submitted content does not infringe upon the rights of any third party

8. Social Media Disclaimer

This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Meta Platforms, Inc.

Participants release Facebook and Meta from any responsibility or liability associated with this Promotion.

9. Disqualification

Elmwood Bark & Stone reserves the right to disqualify any participant who:

  • Violates these Official Rules
  • Submits fraudulent or misleading information
  • Uses fake accounts or automated methods
  • Posts inappropriate, offensive, or unlawful content
  • Attempts to manipulate or interfere with the Promotion

Sponsor’s decisions regarding all matters related to the Promotion are final.

10. Limitation of Liability

Elmwood Bark & Stone shall not be responsible for:

  • Technical issues or social media platform failures
  • Lost, delayed, incomplete, or misdirected entries
  • Errors in Promotion administration
  • Any damages or injuries arising from participation in the Promotion or use of products

Participation is at entrant’s own risk.

11. Privacy

Information collected through the Promotion may be used by Elmwood Bark & Stone for marketing and promotional purposes in accordance with applicable laws and Sponsor’s privacy practices.

12. Acceptance of Rules

Participation in the Promotion constitutes full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and the decisions of Elmwood Bark & Stone, which are final and binding.
